EMK3 Selected by Merit Energy
Dallas, TX, May 04, 2006 -- EMK3 announced that Merit Energy Company, of Dallas, TX, has selected
EMK3 as their enterprise software provider to manage crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids
marketing and transportation. Under the agreement, BearingPoint’s project management and systems
integration expertise will be leveraged to support EMK3’s implementation team on the project.
EMK3’s web-based suite of marketing applications will be seamlessly integrated with Merit’s existing
technology infrastructure including the SAP’s Production Revenue Accounting system (PRA), increasing
efficiencies and tighter internal controls. The scope of Merit’s implementation includes market data
pricing and analysis, contract administration, nominations and scheduling, pipeline and partner balancing,
available for sale management, invoicing, as well as EMK3’s robust reporting and analysis tools.
Implementation for all U.S. domestic business is expected to be fully completed in August.
