Seneca Resources Selects EMK3 for Risk Management and Oil & Gas Marketing

Seneca Resources selects EMK3, citing a perfect fit

DALLAS and HOUSTON, Sept. 8 2004 – EMK3 announced today that Seneca Resources, a subsidiary of National Fuels Gas Company, has selected the EMK3 Suite to manage its oil and gas marketing and risk management functions. “Seneca’s business drivers for seeking a new risk management and marketing system are consistent with other companies that have built their industry leading positions with innovation and forward thinking,” said Gary Wittsche, president of EMK3. “EMK3 will enable Seneca to remain ahead of the curve in their competitive market. Seneca is implementing the entire suite of EMK3 applications, including risk management and fully integrated functionality to support crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids marketing and transportation activities. The implementation includes the Gulf Coast division and will be expanded to include the East Coast and West Coast divisions in the near future. The EMK3 system interface with production, land and accounting systems will enable executives, accounting personnel, and operations personnel to have exceptional tools for analysis and reporting.
